JAMMU, Feb 1: Additional Special Mobile Magistrate Samba Madhu Sharma has convicted a driver and awarded him one imprisonment for rash and negligent driving which led to death of a woman in 2015.
After hearing APP Ravinder Kumar for the UT, the court convicted Yudhvir Singh, son of Kuldeep Singh of Pathankot for mowing down a pedestrian namely Kamal Kour due to rash and negligent driving.
The court awarded one year imprisonment to the driver and imposed a fine of Rs 3000.
