JAMMU, May 26: Member Parliament and Trustee Rajput Charitable Trust, Dr Karan Singh, visited Delhi Public School Katra, Udhampur, today.
While taking round of the school campus, he blessed the children and the staff of the school and appreciated their efforts in keeping with the standards set by the school.
Lauding the achievements of the school, he acknowledged the hard work and efforts put in by the School Management for initiating educational ventures par excellence and imparting quality education to the students.
Dr Karan Singh motivated the students to participate in nation building processes by strengthening mental, physical, emotional and spiritual powers in life. He further urged the youth of the nation to spread the message of ‘Universal Love and Brotherhood’ for global prosperity.
S Sonar, Principal DPS Jammu presented welcome address, while SS Sodhi, Director DPS Jammu conveyed his gratitude to the chief guest for sparing valuable time.
Raj Kumar Verma, Principal DPS Katra presented vote of thanks.
A colourful cultural programme was presented by the students on the occasion.
