JAMMU, Feb 3: Vridhi Royals out played Elite CC with five wickets in the ongoing KCSC under-19 tournament of 40 overs, being played at KC Sports Club Ground, here today.
Batting first Elite CC made moderate 147 runs in 35.2 overs wherein Rydham made highest 31 runs, whereas Aditya and Avinash contributed 29 runs each to their team. For Vridhi Royals, Tegvansh Singh took two important wickets, whereas Archit and Vishal also shared two wickets each.
While chasing the target, the Vridhi Royals chased the target in 25 overs by losing only five wickets and thus won the match with the margin of five wickets. Snoop Bhagat made brilliant 50 runs, whereas Dikshant Kundal and Anshul contributed 43 and 20 runs to the total respectively. From bowling side Manit clinched three wickets while Javed and Aditya shared one wicket each.
Sanoop Bhagat was declared as man of the match and presented with trophy and gift coupon from Westside, while the match was officiated by Ashok Singh, Dayal Singh and Sebastian.
