2-day Karate Training Camp concludes

JAMMU, May 27: Organized by Universal Martial Art Academy and Shito Ryu Seiko Kai Karate Do Association Jammu and Kashmir, the 2-day Karate Training Camp concluded at Gandhi Bhawan, here today.
The training was imparted to the karatekas by Ambedkar Gupta, Indian Karate Coach, while the instructors who accompanied him during the Camp included Tarun Sharma, Poonam Gupta, Shaveta Gupta and Anup Singh. 25 karatekas including 6 girls were selected for the regular training of karate.
Anil Gupta, Chairman, Amateur Karate Do Association was the chief guest on the closing ceremony, who distributed participation certificates among all the participants. Sham Langer, Senior Vice President Chamber of Commerce and Industries was the guest of honour. Brown Belt certificates were also awarded to Aman Sharma and Ravi Kumar.
During the Camp, the trainees also got the opportunity to interact with the International players Sahil Singh, Tushar Jandyal and Sumit Sharma, who recently participated in Commonwealth Karate Championship held at Australia and World Karate Championship held at Malaysia.
