Malik heads MEF Rajouri unit

RAJOURI, Feb 8: Fazeel Ahmed Malik has been elected as president while Tanveer Mirza as general secretary of Rajouri unit of Medical Employees Federation.
In a meeting of the Federation held at Rajouri today under the chairmanship of Sushil Sudan, Provincial president, the members unanimously elected office bearers for Rajouri Unit. Besides Malik and Mirza, the other office bearers elected include- Masood Ahmed Malik – senior vice president, Mushtaq Ahmed Khan and Kabir Naik – chief organizers while Dev Raj Sharma as advisor.
Meanwhile, a n adhoc body of the Federation was also framed for GMC &AH Rajouri on the occasion. Abdul Majid Lone was inducted as president, Nasir Khan as general secretary, Ishtiaq Bhat as senior vice president, Tanveer Hussain Choudhary as chief advisor, Sarfraz Ahmed as secretary while Ajaz Ahmed Malik as publicity secretary.
The employees projected the demands of conducting DPC of all cadres, frame transparent transfer policy, registration of all the left over Pharmacists under Pharmacy Act of J&K UT, release salary under 2011 Head regularly and release compensation to the families of employees who expired during COVID-19 while on duty.
