RAJOURI, Feb 11: Range Police Headquarters Rajouri organised under-19 tournament under the banner of civic action programme at District Police Lines Ground, here today.
About four teams including two each from Poonch and Rajouri districts are participating in this tournament. SSP Rajouri, Chandan Kohli was the chief guest of the inaugural ceremony.
The opening tie match was played between Rajouri-A and Poonch-B.
The tournament is being organised by DIG, Rajouri-Poonch Range, Vivek Gupta under the supervision of Staff Officer RPHQ, Kewal Krishan Sharma, DySP. The aim of the event is to attract and promote the sports talent among youth besides bridge the gap between police and civil society.
Liquat Ali Addl SP Hqrs, Vinod Sharma DySP Hqrs, Zaheer Abass DySP DAR DPL Rajouri and Imtiaz Ahmed DySP Oprs were also present during the event.
