*J&K to host 1st ever Sr National Soft Tennis tourney

JAMMU, Feb 12: The talented Soft Tennis players of K C Sports Club excelled in UT level Soft Tennis Championship by clinching nine gold medals and two silver medals, played at Gindun Stadium Srinagar.
The championship was organised by J&K Amateur Soft Tennis Association in conjunction with JK Sports Council.
Managing Director, K C Sports Club, Arjun Chowdhary complimented the medallists and said that their devotion will make a mark at national and international events.
The winners who excelled in the championship including Indu Padha in senior men category, Sidhani Singh in women category, Samanyu Cyrish in junior men category, Rishabh Koul in junior men category, Soham Bhat in junior men category, Shulin Koul in sub junior boys category, Madhavendra Singh in sub junior boys category and Shreemai Bhat in sub junior girls category.
The winners got training in the courts of KC Sports Club under the expert guidance of International player and coach, Indu Padha.
The KC Sports Club management also wished all success to Indu Padha, Samanyu Cyrish and Sidhani Singh, who have been selected for the upcoming National Soft Tennis Championship, which is being hosted by Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory from March 4 to 7.
Meanwhile, General Secretary, J&K Amateur Soft Tennis Association, Dr G H Hassan has also extended felicitations to the Jammu players for their outstanding performance in the tournament.
