DODA, Feb 19: District Youth Services & Sports Department today organized UT Level Inter District Girls U/14 Volleyball Tournament, here at Boys Higher Secondary School.
The tournament was attended by District Youth Services and Sports Officer, Jaffar Haider Sheikh in presence of ZPEO, Bhalla Pritam Singh and I/C ZPEO Doda, Kishori Lal.
The Tournament is being organised under the patronage of Director General Youth Services & Sports J&K Dr. Saleem-ul-Rehman, District Development Commissioner Doda Dr. Sagar D Doifode and over all supervision of DYSSO Doda.
In Pool A matches, District Anantnag was defeated by District Ganderbal by 2-1 sets and District Doda defeated District Kulgam by 2-0 sets.
In Pool B mathces, District Rajouri trounced District Kathua by 2-0 sets; District Srinagar beat District Budgam by 2-0 sets; District Pulwama was defeated by District Kathua by 2-0 sets and District Srinagar was defeated by District Rajouri by 2-0 sets.
The matches were officiated by Vinod Kumar (PEM) Mudassir Batt (PET) Ifroz Hussain, (PET) Dara Singh (PET) Murtaza Qasir (PET) Rohit Bandral (REK) Archana, (REK), Veena, (REK), Naveed-ul-Rehman, (REK), Susheel Kumar, (REK) and incharge Commentator Koshal Kumar, (REK).
