JKTA calls on CEO, raises teachers issues

KATHUA, Feb 22: Deputation of JK Teachers Association (JKTA) of district Kathua led by its UT president, Bhupinder Singh, provincial president, Pawan Kumar Verma, UT media publicity secretary, Pardeep Choudhary, UT coordinator, Sunil Salaria and district president, Kathua Sunil Bhardwaj called on Chief Education Officer, Kathua, Jagjeet Singh at his office and apprised him about the problems of teachers fraternity of district Kathua.
He demanded detachment of teachers from ZEO offices as some Zonal Education Officers attached their blue eyed teachers in their offices, disposing of all pending files of time bound promotions and issuance of instructions to ZEOs for completion of service books of teachers.
Chief Education Officer, Kathua after listening the deputation assured it to resolve the issues on priority basis.
Prominent among the deputation included Hem Raj Mishra, Suresh Kumar, Mohammed Salim, Madan Lal, Kuldeep Chand, Mulkh Raj, Mani Ram, Yash Paul, Chambel Singh, Kewal Singh, Subash Kumar, Daolat Raj, Sandeep Kumar, Ajit Singh, Bhupinder Singh and others.
