JAMMU, May 25: The tournament in the discipline of Badminton and Table Tennis of Sector Jammu staff of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board (SMVDSB) Katra concluded at MA Stadium, here today.
The tournament was organised under the chairmanship of Dr Mandeep K Bhandari, Additional Chief Executive Officer, SMVD Shrine Board, while Ashok Kumar Director Sports Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board was the organising secretary of the tournament.
The matches were officiated by Vikrant Singh, Raju Sharma, Dhanraj Salathia and Dalbir Singh.
Earlier, in badminton singles final, Pardeep Jamwal drubbed Balraj Singh (2-1) by (21-19, 21-18), while in badminton doubles final, K K Kaul and Balraj Singh got better of Parvinder and Sampooran by 2-1 by (18-21, 21-19,21-17).
In Table Tennis singles final, Balraj Singh beat Pardeep Jamwal by 2-0 by (11-7, 11-5), while in Table Tennis doubles final, Balraj and Pardeep duo toppled Pardeep and Shakti pair by 2-0 (11-8, 11-6).
