JAMMU, Mar 14: Vinayaka and FCC emerged winners of the ongoing Navreh Premier League match by defeating JMCC and Sharika with 50 runs and six wickets respectively, being played at Country Cricket Ground Ambgrota, here today.
Winning the toss, JMCC decided to ball first. Vinayaka scored 175 runs on the loss of eight wickets in stipulated 20 overs. In reply JMCC bundled out at 125 runs in 19 overs and lost the match by 50 runs. Surinder was declared as man of the match who scored 40 in 36 balls and took two wickets by conceding 18 runs in allotted 4 overs.
In the second match which was played between FCC and Sharika. Sharika scored 129 by losing four wickets in 20 overs. In reply, FCC chased the target by losing only four wickets in 17.4 overs and won the match by six wickets. Shailendra Salathia was declared as man of the match who made unbeaten 60 runs off 43 balls.
MK Raina, MD Endurance Heavy Earth Movers was the chief guest of today’s match.
Meanwhile, another two matches which were played between Bhaarat Cricket Club and Durga Cricket Club. Bhaarat Club made 145 runs in 20 overs on the loss of five wickets. Chasing the target, Durga Club managed to make only 77 runs in 13 overs by losing all the wickets.
Bhaarat Club won by 68 runs. Karan was declared as man of the match, whereas RSCC Jairaj won the match with 30 runs by beating Alpha Production. Batting first RSCC made 144 runs in 19.3 overs by losing all the wickets. The opponent team failed to chase the set target and all out at 113 runs.
Rajesh Salgotra was declared as man of the match. Ajay Raina, Prop Endurance Heavy Earth Movers was the chief guest who presented mementos to man of the match winners.
