KISHTWAR, May 29: BJP Kishtwar unit organised District Working Committee meet here at district headquarter which was presided over by Ashok Koul, state organizing secretary .
In his address Ashok Koul said that BJP has been organizing Working Committee meetings at State level in the past and recently it has started holding of such meets at districts level also. Various sessions were held in these meetings which included “History and Growth of BJP over the years, Vision and Ideology of BJP and the Sang Parivar, land marks in the past decades, future challenges and election strategies”.
While addressing the workers Rajinder Singh district president stressed on strengthening the Party at grass root level.
While addressing the office bearers state secretary Munish Sharma urged them to spread the ideology of the Party through BJP Update, the official magazine of the Party.
Sunil Sharma State Executive member brought a resolution on security scenario in the state. The resolution has deep resentment about revocation of AFSPA and demilitarization of the state. The resolution also demands to the Government that the present rehabilitation policy be taken back.
It was unanimously decided that the wages of VDCs and SPOs should be enhanced to the extent of Rs 10,000/ per month while rendering their selfless services to the nation.
A serious note was taken about infiltration bids in recent times which is also spreading through Kathmandu route as no scrutiny is made to the infiltrators coming through this route.
