Ex-MP, Asian Heritage Foundation founder call on Governor

SRINAGAR, May 29: Mahmood A. Madani, former Member of Parliament, called on N. N. Vohra, Governor, at Raj Bhavan here this evening.
Mr. Madani and the Governor discussed several issues relating to the revival of the Sufi traditions and maintenance of communal harmony and brotherhood.
Meanwhile,  Rajeev Sethi, founder of the Asian Heritage Foundation, New Delhi, called on Mr. Vohra. He is visiting here in connection with an important exposition – “Crafting Hands: Sheher” which is being organized at the Lal Ded Cultural Centre in collaboration with the Tourism Department, INTACH (JK Chapter), CSIA Mumbai Airport and GVK.
Sethi briefed the Governor about the activities of the Foundation being undertaken for preserving the rich cultural heritage of the country and his past and present work to revive the historical linkages with countries in Central Asia. He also briefed the Governor about the initiatives being taken by the Foundation in this behalf and those planned for the future.
