SRINAGAR, May 29: To save the environment and put forward their voice for the noble cause, a large number of youth from Delina, Armargad, Ningali and Sangrama of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district joined hands with the Army through a cycle rally.
The 10 Kilometers long cycle rally was flagged off from Kanishpora. The theme of the cycle rally was “Save the Environment” and youth between age-group of 15 to 20 years participated in the event.
Shahid Nazir Bhatt won the Cycle rally and claimed the first prize winning a Sports Bicycle, while Jahangir Ahmed Khan and Muzaffar Nazir Khan stood second and third respectively. Ten consolation prizes were also given to the participants as per their positions.
The prizes were given away by Ghulam Hassan Bacha, Chairman of MET College.
The rally was organized by 52 Rashtriya Rifles under the aegis of 10 Sector Rashtriya Rifles/Kilo Force.
