UDHAMPUR, June 1: A 10-days Summer Camp began at Delhi Public School (DPS) Udhampur, here today.
The attractions of the Camp are many sports and cultural activities which include martial art, skating, shooting, art & craft, dance, music and splash pool.
To provide better learning to the students, extra classes will be held for Grade IX and X.
District Development Commissioner, Udhampur Yasha Mudgal and SSP Udhampur Benam Tosh inaugurated the Camp in an impressive, colourful and well attended function.
Dr JC Gupta, chairman (LMC) lauded the staff for organizing such an event which serves as a launching pad in exploring hidden talent of the students.
According to the organizers, the aim of the event is to provide extra learning benefit to the students.
School Princiapl, Dr Anju Pandey and Vice Principal, Sucheta Gupta were present on the occasion.
