JAMMU, Apr 2: A staffer of the Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS) Varinder Sharma has been invited to officiate in Kurash event in the ongoing Delhi Olympic Games, organised by the Delhi Olympic Association.
A former Judo player and presently associated with the game of Kurash, Varinder was earlier appointed as coach of the Indian Kurash team that took part in the 10th Asian Kurash Championship.
Meanwhile, Varinder expressed his thanks to general secretary of Delhi Kurash Association, Lal Singh and technical chairman, Chander Pal Saini for the invitation and encouragement.
