KATHUA, Apr 3: Acting tough against drug peddlers, district police Kathua today recovered heroin like substance and arrested two accused in the jurisdiction of Police Station (PS) Rajbagh.
On specific information of District Special Branch (DSB) Kathua, two persons were apprehended namely Abhi Sharma, son of Ram Paul Sharma of Parangoli Dayal Chack and Suresh Kumar @Tinka, son of Ashok Kumar of Ganyari at present Dhaloti Shiv Mandir and approximately 20 grams of Heroin like substance was recovered from their possession. The two motorcycles bearing Registration Number, JK08C-7218 and PB08BE- 5220 were seized on spot.
Accordingly a case FIR No.38/2021 U/S 8/21/22/NDPS Act was lodged in PS Rajbagh and investigation was taken up.
