RSCC beats DCC, sails into semi-finals round

JAMMU, Apr 4: Superb bowling and batting performances by skipper Rajesh Salhotra and Amit Wali guided their team to a brilliant victory against Durga Cricket Club (DCC) by seven wickets in the ongoing Navreh Cup, being played here today.
Batting first, DCC made partly 85 runs in stipulated 20 overs by losing all wickets. Skipper Rajesh Salhotra, took three crucial wickets, while Amit Wali and Kingji clinched four and three wickets respectively.
In reply, RSCC need to chase the required target in just 7.4 overs to qualify for semi-final round and which they succeeded to achieve the target in just 6.3 overs with 9 balls left. Suberb batting performance by Rajesh Salhotra, Amit Wali and Sanjay who contributed 14, 37 and 25 runs respectively, the team sailed into semi-finals of the tournament.
Amit Wali was declared as man of the match for his outstanding performance.
