UDHAMPUR, June 3: Police have arrested a hardcore inter-district bovine smuggler, who was absconding for the last nine years.
The arrested smuggler, identified as Mohd Abbas of Qazigund in Anantnag, was arrested from Kashmir after a series of raids by a Police party, led by SHO Majalta, Probationer Dy SP G Mustafa Dar on the direction of Incharge SSP Benam Tosh.
He was wanted in case FIR No 33/2004 U/S 188/RPC, 3/PCA, registered in the Police Station Majalta.
