Srinagar, Apr 8: An FIR has been registered against DDC member for misbehaving with policemen on duty in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
The DDC Litter, Mukhtiyar Ahmed Band had visited Pulwama without informing police and while returning from Pulwama towards Srinagar his vehicle was intercepted at a checkpoint laid by Police Station Kakapora.
An official said that the DDC member lost his cool when his vehicle was stopped and he allegedly misbehaved with policemen on duty.
Police took cognizance of the incident and registered an FIR vide Number 25/2021 under Section 353 against Mukhtiyar Ahmed.
An official said that his vehicle was intercepted to ensure his safety instead he misbehaved with the policemen on duty at the checkpoint.
