Traders Federation submits memo to Dr Jitendra

JAMMU, Apr 9: The newly elected team of Traders Federation Ware House-Nehru Market Jammu today submitted a memorandum of demands to Dr Jitendra Singh, Minister of State in Prime Minister’s Office.
The memorandum was submitted to the MoS during a function organized by Traders’ Federation at Greater Kailash. Dr Jitendra Singh was the chief guest on the occasion while JMC Mayor Chander Mohan Gupta, former Deputy Chief Minister of J&K Kavinder Gupta and former MLC Vikram Randhawa were guests of honour.
A good number of traders including the newly elected office bearers of the Federation namely Deepak Gupta (president), Munish Mahajan (senior vice president), Abhimanyu Gupta (junior vice president), Sham Lal Langer (secretary general), Vishal Gupta (secretary) and Amit Gupta (treasurer) attended the function.
Federation president, while speaking on the occasion, highlighted several issues and demands of the traders fraternity in general and Ware House traders in particular. He sought additional space for godowns at Ware House, Nehru Market.
Later, he submitted a memorandum to Dr Jitendra Singh, seeking review in policy of FDI in Retail, simplification of GST and remedy for liquor vendors, Sidhra Restaurant owners and early completion of tourism related projects in Jammu.
