JAMMU, Apr 18: Wrestling Coach Sahil Sharma of Jammu achieved another goal as his two trainees namely Anshu Malik and Sonam have qualified for Tokyo Olympics-2021 by clinching Silver medals in 57kg and 62 kg weight categories in Senior Women Wrestling Olympics, held at Almaty (Uzbekistan) from April 9 to 11.
Sahil Sharma had represented India in many world championships as coach and his trainees had clinched medals in various tourney including each Gold and Bronze medals in Asian Games held at Jakarta (Indonesia), 2018, three Gold medals, two Silver and two Bronze medals in Cadet Asian Championship held at Japan, one each Bronze medal in World Wrestling Championship, 2019 held at Nur- Sultan (Kazakhstan) and Serbia besides Silver medal in World Ranking Series-2021 at Rome (Italy).
