New Delhi, June 6: BCCI’s newly-appointed interim secretary Sanjay Patel is confident that he will do justice to his post in the short time that is available before the Annual General Meeting in September.
“It’s an interim arrangement but the majority of the senior BCCI officials showed faith in me which in turn encouraged me to take up this role in this challenging time. I am fully confident that I will perform the duties to the best of my abilities and do justice to the role,” Patel, who is the secretary of Baroda Cricket Association said.
Asked how difficult it will be to take up this role at a juncture when Indian cricket has been rocked by betting and spot-fixing scandal. (PTI)
