SRINAGAR, June 6: Army Goodwill School, Chandigam (Lolab) celebrated its 12th Annual Day function, wherein school children performed various educational, cultural and entertainment programmes.
According to a handout issued here, the Annual Day started with the hoisting of national flag followed by a cultural programme which included welcome song, skits, English song, Kashmiri folk song & dance, Qawwali’ and a colourful ‘ Bhangra’ dance.
Commander, 8 Sector Rashtriya Rifles, Brig DP Pandey, VSM, patron of the school graced the occasion and gave away the prizes.
A total of 36 prizes were distributed to meritorious students in academics and 41 prizes to winners in sports and allied activities.
