4th Group of Tawi Trekkers flagged off

JAMMU, June 10: The 4th group of trekkers comprising 38 students of Shiksha Niketan Secondary School, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu was flagged off today for participation in the J&K Himalayan Trekking Programme, being organized by Tawi Trekkers J&K at Moungri, 50 kms from Udhampur.
The group which included 24 boys and 14 girls was flagged off by Romeshwar Mengi, Chairman of Shiksha Niketan Secondary School.
Two teachers of the school S Bhupinder Singh and Usha Devi along with Anil Kumar, instructor of Tawi Trekkers J&K also accompanied the group.
Meanwhile, the third group of trekkers of MHAC School, Nagbani is thoroughly enjoying adventure activities in the cool climate of Moungri when scorching heat wave has engulfed Jammu.
The fifth group of trekkers will leave Jammu for the trek on June 12, 2013.
