REASI, May 22: Reasi Police has nabbed a kidnapping and rape case accused who was evading arrest for the last one and half year.
Accused Shoket Ali, son of Mohd Latief of Dangakote Reasi was absconding in case FIR number 74/2019, dated 9 December 2019, under section 366, 376, 342 RPC Police Station Mahore, after the commission of heinous crimes.
Accused evaded investigation by going underground and couldn’t be apprehended since the registration of FIR in 2019 as he was changing his hideouts both inside and outside of J&K.
By meticulously planning and coordinated efforts, Reasi Police chased the accused and finally arrested him from Battal Ballian Mansar in district Udhampur.
Police team is on the hunt to apprehend another accused absconding in the said case FIR.
