Srinagar May 22 : Police today held two Special Police Officers (SPOs) with contraband in Drugmulla locality of this north-Kashmir district.
The two accused have been identified as; Shakoor Ahmad Bhatti, a resident of Chamkoot Karnah, deputed as SPO at SDH Kupwara and Shabir Ahmad Bhat, a resident of Bumhama Kupwara, posted at DPL Kupwara were apprehended by a team led by SHO Drugmulla Mushtaq Ahmad.
The duo on board an Alto car bearing Registration Number JK-09B 6215 was intercepted and during the questioning divulged having in their possession fourteen grams of brown sugar. Both the accused were subsequently put under custody at Police Post Drugmulla.
