NC Minority Cell appeals Govt to arrange more buses for pilgrims

JAMMU, June 13: NC minority Cell in its meeting today made an appeal to Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah to issue instructions to concerned authorities to provide 30 more buses for the holy Kheer Bhawani mela falling on June 17.
The appeal was made by Working president of the Cell M K Yogi.
He said the 50 buses arranged by Relief organization can’t coop with the pilgrims rush and hence more 30 buses be arranged for the pilgrims to and fro journey.
The meeting also appealed the Government to ensure proper boarding and lodging as well as other arrangements for the pilgrims at holy shrine of Mata Kheer Bhwani especially for their night haltage by booking school buildings, guesthouses etc as the present quarters at shrine have been occupied by migrant employees.
The meeting urged the activists of the Cell to be available at the holy shrine for the assistance of yatris. Those who attended the meting included P L Talashi, Pinky Bhat, Raj Nath Bhat, Bal Ji Bhat, Amit Ji, Bharti and A K Raina.
