JAMMU, May 25: Online inter-collegiate essay writing competition on the topic ‘Effects of COVID-19 on the Education of the Students’ was organized by the Department of Education, Government Degree College, Nowshera under the aegis of “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav”.
The competition was conducted under the leadership of the Principal of the college Dr Surinder Kumar.
Department of Education received overwhelming response from different colleges across the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir and the students have shared and expressed their views on the impacts of the corona pandemic on education.
The best scripts of the students were selected to reward them.
The first prize was secured by Nasreen Akhter and Manisha Dogra from GDC Nowshera, the winners of the second prize were Sanjana Kumari and Varsha Sharma while the recipients of third prize were Shreya Gumble and Sachin Kumar also from GDC Nowshera.
The competition was organized by RakeshVerma and Dr Subita Sharma Lecturer in Education.
