JAMMU, June 15: An Educational-cum-Motivational Tour comprising of 20 girls and 3 teachers of Mahore Tehsil was flagged off by the General Officer Commanding, Counter Insurgency Force (Uniform) from Reasi, today.
The tour is being organised by the Rashtriya Rifles Battalion, Bagga, under the ongoing ‘Operation Sadbhavana’.
The 10-days tour would give an opportunity to the girl students to visit Bangalore and Chennai.
The students will be visiting places of educational and historical importance such as Visvesvaraya Industrial and Technical Museum, Cubban Park, Infosys campus, Aquarium and Bangalore Palace. At Chennai, the girls students will visit Officers Training Academy, Government Museum and Marina Beach.
The students will also get an opportunity to interact with the students and teaching staff of prestigious schools and colleges at Bangalore and Chennai.
