REASI, May 31: Deputy Commissioner Charandeep Singh released financial assistance of Rs1236000 as COVID relief among porters and pony riders in the presence of Executive Officer SSKSB (Additional Deputy Commissioner) Rajinder Kumar Sharma, here today.
Speaking on the event, the DC Reasi said that the first instalment of Rs 1236000 has been dispersed to nearly 618 beneficiaries through bank invoice.
He also emphasized for generating awareness among the construction workers about various schemes being implemented by the Shiv Khori Shrine Board in the district, so that they can also avail the benefits of various welfare schemes.
The DC directed the Shiv Khori Shrine Board to ensure that no eligible beneficiary will be left out from availing the benefits of these welfare schemes meant for such beneficiaries and also stressed on strict adherence to COVID-19 related SOPs and guidelines during the event.
