LONDON, June 16: ‘The Hurt Locker’ star Jeremy Renner says he hasn’t always been cool and used to get teased for not being part of the surfer crowd when he was younger.
The 42-year-old actor might be one of the most in-demand action stars in Hollywood now, but things weren’t always so easy for him growing up, reported Contactmusic.
“I grew up in California and Hawaii, but I don’t surf or smoke weed, so everybody considered me a weirdo, which I probably am,” he said.
‘The Avengers’ star is very secretive about his love life, and he said he would rather be committed to his film roles than a woman until he’s sure she’s the right one for him.
“I’m married to my career and for now that’s the only kind of commitment I’m planning to have … Coming from a family with many divorces, I vowed not to make the same mistakes,” he said. (PTI)
