JAMMU, June 2: Aryans Group of Colleges Rajpura today organized a webinar on International English Language Test (IELTS), Gateway to International Education.
Nidhi Malik, IELTS trainer interacted with the Aryans students of Nursing, Pharmacy, Law, Engineering, Management, B.Ed and Agriculture, whereas Dr Anshu Kataria, chairman of Aryans Group presided over the event.
Nidhi while interacting with students said that English is the third most spoken language in the world, with 379 million speakers worldwide. IELTS is designed to help you work, study or migrate to a country where English is the native language. This includes countries such as Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the UK and USA.
“Your ability to listen, read, write and speak in English will be assessed during the test. IELTS is graded on a scale of 1-9,” she said.
Nidhi further said that the higher you can score in your IELTS reflects a better understanding and ability to communicate in English. “The IELTS is developed to provide a fair and accurate assessment of English language proficiency,” she added.
It is pertinent to mention here that the Aryans Group of Colleges has tied up with more than 500 reputed colleges and universities of Canada. “Students can start their education with few courses at Aryans and complete the remaining courses at Canada under Credit Transfer or pathway programs,” said Kataria, chairman of the Group.
