Two farmers hospitalized

KATHUA, June 16: Two villagers fell unconscious and were hospitalized in a serious condition today when they were taking lunch at their residence in village Kalaspur near Lakhanpur area of Kathua district today.
The duo was identified as Joginder Pal and Chuni Lal. According to police the duo was taking meals when they fell suddenly unconscious. The cause of their unconsciousness was that the two villagers were working in the farm where they had sprayed some pesticides yesterday. The intoxicants might have affected the two farmers while working in the field today that resulted into their unconsciousness, police added.
The farmers were admitted in district hospital Kathua in a serious condition where they are battling for their lives.
