The president of these political workers, Abdul Majid Mir said that their children and other members of their families are totally perturbed and they feel themselves insecure hence they are left with no option but to leave the accommodation given to them as it sans the basic facilities.
They also warned that in view of any untoward incident to them the authorities will be responsible for the same, Majid told reporters here, today. He alleged that they tried to meet DC Ganderbal many times but DC was totally reluctant to give audience to them and in view of the increasing attacks on political activists the authorities were exposing them to grave risk.
To protest against the attitude of the district administration the political workers tried to leave their accommodations however the SSP Ganderbal immediately reached the spot and persuaded them not to leave the accommodations and security. He assured them that suitable steps will be taken to redress their problems and he will take up the issue with higher authorities also.
