REASI, June 9: Arnas Police arrested a kidnapping and rape accused, who was absconding since January this year.
The accused was identified as Ghulam Hussan, son of Mohammad Hussain of Thub Thanol Tehsil Thakerakote Arnas District Reasi.
He was wanted in a case registered under FIR Number 5/2021 under Sections 366 and 376 IPC with Police Station Arnas. The accused kidnapped a 21-year-old girl and repeatedly raping her along with another accomplice.
One accused identified as Nissar Hussain, son of Mohammad Hussain was already arrested in the same case.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
