JAMMU, June 19: All J&K Kashyap Rajput Sabha Moti Bazar in its meeting here today held under the chairmanship of Murari Lal Balgotra, president, discussed various problems being faced by the community. Madan Lal Dogra ex president of the Sabha was also present. The House decided to form the Election Committee and Membership Committee for free and fair elections of the Sabha as per the registered constitution with the help of State administration.
Mr Balgotra disclosed in the meeting that in view of forthcoming Parliamentary, Assembly and Local Bodies elections, the Sabha will hold peaceful protest rallies at all the towns, blocks, tehsils and districts for the implementation of 27 percent reservations in the State Government which is the fundamental and constitutional right of the community.
He also disclosed that Sabha will hold ladies Sammelan in order to bring political awareness among them.
The others present in the meeting included Balwant Raj, Som Dutt Tak, Bodh Raj Dogra, Vijay Kumar Mehra, Gopal Krishan, Ashwani Kumar, Kamal Mehra, Mangat Ram (DSP), Tirath Ram, Puran Chand, Mohan Lal Pawar etc.
