JAMMU, June 19: Suhani Singh will lock horns with Ananya the final of the under 10 girls event, organised during the ongoing 1st Dr Pardip Shankhayadhar Memorial Open Badminton Tournament by Young’s Badminton Club at badminton hall, Gulshan Grounds, on June 21.
Earlier, in the first semifinal, Suhani Singh beat Veena, whereas, in the second semis, Ananya registered win over Shreya and sailed into final.
In 4-10 years boys singles, Dhananjay beat Utkarsh, Shaksham defeated Raghu and Arnav trounced Manya.
In 4-10 years boys doubles, Dhananjay and Hitarth defeated Utkarsh and Manay.
In 4-13 years girls singles, Janvi thrashed Sohal by 2-0 sets and Aakriti also smashed Shruti by straight 2-0 sets, whereas, in boys category, Hardik defeated Krish, whereas, Aman outclassed Upanshu, Hitarth routed Arpit Mahajan and Aryan Sharma thrashed Raghav.
In 4-13 years girls doubles, Naviya and Tanvi trounced Arisha and Aayushi by straight 2-0 sets.
In 4-15 years girls singles, Naman will clash with Peehushi in the final. Earlier, in the semifinal rounds, Naman beat Jasleen and Peehushi thrashed Swati, whereas in girls category Nalin trounced Arun, Harsh thrashed Sarandeep, Tushar crushed Nitin, Savinay trounced Vishal, Adeshwar smashed Aesh, Aryan thrashed Avinav, Aryan crushed Manan and Raghav Dogra beat Reshav.
In 4-15 years doubles, Nalin and Raghav will clash with Savinay and Aryan in the final. Earlier, in the semis, Nalin and Raghav smashed Harsh and Adeshwar, whereas, Savinay and Aryan crushed Nitin and Aesh.
In under 13 years boys singles, Vishant thrashed Upasak, Manat Angral trounced Varun, Tushar crushed Yadunandan, Aryan Nagpal defeated Tushar Vaid, Saksham trounced Uddhav Vohra, Prananjay beat Ayush Dogra, Aditya crushed Aarush and Suvi outclassed Arjun Dogra.
In under 17 years boys singles, Divum crushed Happy, Raghav smashed Arjun, Dhananjay beat Manchit, Bashir Ahmed routed Vishant and Divyam knocked down Jagjeet Singh.
In under 17 boys doubles, Divyam and Divum will lock horns with Raghav Vaid and Nalin in the final. Earlier, Divyam and Divum crushed Avinash and Dhananjay in the first semis, whereas, Raghav Vaid and Nalin smashed Raghav Dogra and Bhavesh in the second semis.
In under 17 girls doubles, Saubhagani and Mitakashare will take on Naman and Suvidha in the final. Earlier, Saubhagani and Mitakashare beat Nitika and Vikita in the first semifinal, whereas in the second semifinal, Naman and Suvidha registered win over Peehushi and Preeti.
