Summer camp concludes at DPS

JAMMU, June 22: To explore the hidden talent of the student, the Summer camp organised by Delhi Public School concluded today.
The aim of the camp was to provide the children an opportunity to inculcate healthy habits and to encourage them to pursue various activities of their choice.
During the camp, classes in art and craft, dance (both classical and western), cricket, swimming, table tennis, lawn tennis, skating, yoga, English conversation and computer were conducted under the guidance of the experts in their respective fields.
On the final day, an exhibition was also organised where craft items such as paper pottery from newspapers, photo frame, marble painting and glass painting prepared by the students were displayed.
On the occasion, competitions in the discipline of swimming, skating, cricket and yoga were also held.
Principal of the school, Sudershan Sonar interacted with the students, who explained their experience of the summer camp.
While speaking, Principal highlighted the importance of such camps as these help in grooming the hidden talent of the students. He also assured the students that such activities which help them in developing the overall personality of an individual will be organised in the future also.
Later, he distributed certificates to the students.
