Hilal elected Provincial Head of JKCPL

SRINAGAR, June 24: Executive Director of Board of Directors of Jammu and Kashmir Corporate Premier League (JKCPL), Hilal Rather, the owner of Simula Group of Companies has been elected Provincial Head (Jammu) of the League in an Executive Meeting held here under the chairmanship of chairman and managing Director of the League, Farooq Amin. Sheikh Imran, owner of Kehwa Group of Companies, the spokesperson of the League was also present in the meeting.
Waseem Tramboo, the owner of Tramboo Group of Companies has been elected Provincial Head (Kashmir), while former J&K cricketer and JU Academician, Ranjeet Kalra, chairman of JKCA Media Committee, has been appointed Media Advisor of the League.
“We have made almost all requisite arrangements with regard to conduct of the League and we are hopefully beginning the same from July 3, 2013. However, the practice matches will be held three days before the commencement of the League,” said Sheikh Imran.
“Both the Executive Directors have been assigned important roles of handling provincial affairs,” Imran added.
Meanwhile, Farooq Amin informed that the organizers will be holding five to six matches of the League in Jammu, which brought ecstatic feeling to the enthusiastic cricketers of this region.
The meeting also assigned the individual roles to all the Executive Directors. Director Legal, Asif Burza, Director Finance, Reyaz Panjara, Director Technical and Purchases, Hamid Mufti, Mujeeb Tramboo on behalf of Director Logistics, Haseeb Tramboo, Director Hospitality and Protocol Suhail Ahmad was also given his role and Director Marketing, media and PR, Sheikh Imran, were assigned charges of their roles. Also it was decided that Sheikh Imran being official spokesperson of the league, all the press and publicity and media will be officially taken up by him and routed through him.
It is pertinent to mention here that Abdul Qayoom is general secretary of the League, while Rajesh Dhar and Mansoor Ahmed are the joint secretaries. Nisar Ahmed Khan is the treasurer.
