JAMMU, July 14: Dr Parveen Kumar deputed at KVK-Leh has been awarded with ‘Scientist of the Year Award-2020-21’ in the 4th National Annual Conference on the topic ‘Advances, Tools and Techniques in Agriculture, Horticulture, Environmental and Biotechnological Sciences’, organized by Kalp Laboratories Mathura (UP) from July 13 to 14.
The conference was organised online in collaboration with Indian Farmer and Scientist Council (IFSC) Ghaziabad, Plant Research and Educational Promotion Society, Hindustan Agriculture Research Welfare Society, Agra, International Bio Tech Technocrats and Consultants Association (IBTCA), Dehradun, Pathway Academy and The Bouquet Society, Agra.
Dr Parveen Kumar presented a paper on ‘Agriculture in India: An Ex post critique and the way forward’. In his presentation, he discussed the growth of Indian agriculture since independence and the achievements in terms of yields per unit area to augment overall production.
