JAMMU, July 16: Department of Commerce, Government College for Women Parade organised one day national webinar on ‘Financial Education’ under the guidance of Principal of the college Dr SP Sarswat.
Dr Neha Gupta, Head of Commerce Department welcomed the resource person Raghunandan Pattanaik, a National Trainer BFSI, certified Trainer Belt USA.
Raghunandan Pattanaik emphasised on the importance of financial literacy for becoming a smart investor. He threw light on various concepts like mutual funds, inflation, time value of money and so on.
During the speech, Raghunandan Pattanaik explained in detail how bettwe money management leads to financial prosperity and peace in mind. He highlighted the importance of charting out investment plans so as to manage as desired balance between risk involved and profit to be earned.
A large number of staff members from the host college and also other colleges participated in the webinar.
