General Officer Commanding, Fire and Fury Corps flagging in Cycling Expedition at Leh on Wednesday.

LEH, June 26: An adventurous Cycling Expedition undertaken by a team of Officers and officials of Desert Charger Brigade/Battle Axe Division from Manali in Himachal Pradesh to Leh in Ladakh was flagged in at Leh by General Officer Commanding, GOC Fire and Fury Corps, here.  The 19-days expedition completed pre-induction acclimatization at Manali.
The expedition team traversed a distance of 1122 kms passing through many of the passes including the Rohtang, Baralach La, Chushul and  Chang La passes, scaling and riding through altitudes  ranging from 12000 ft to 18000 ft in grueling climatic conditions.
The Cycling Expedition aimed at Going Green, foster team spirit, promote adventure and stretch the human endurances.
