JAMMU, July 26: In order to mitigate the academic loss faced by the students and their apprehensions related to career, subject selection etc, mega Parent-Teacher Meet was organized in all the Government schools of Jammu division through virtual mode.
The event was coordinated by Counseling Cell of Directorate of School Education Jammu through District Counseling Coordinators, ZCCs and DNOs.
The key points discussed with parents included career guidance through JK career portal `Manzilein’, DSEJ Radio and tele classes and assessment tests. School teachers were oriented in advance about the issues to be discussed with the parents.
DSEJ Dr Ravi Shanker Sharma said that such meetings are necessary to keep all stakeholders motivated. Romesh Kumar, Head Counselling Cell DSEJ also interacted with the stakeholders.
