JAMMU, July 28: The Government today constituted a committee for clearing fresh construction proposals before they are placed before the competent authorities for accord of administrative approval.
The committee shall scrutinize the requirement of the proposed projects having regard to the existing un-utilized infrastructure in the Union Territory so as to ensure optimum utilization of existing Government infrastructure.
The committee Members shall be Principal Secretary, Housing & Urban Development Department, Principal Secretary PDD, Principal Secretary Public Works (R&B) Department, Commissioner Secretary Jal Shakti Department, Administrative Secretary Planning, Development & Monitoring Department while Director General Planning in the Planning Development & Monitoring Department is the Member Secretary.
