JAMMU, June 28: Minister for Higher Education, Mohammad Akbar Lone today flagged in the 4th Mughal Road Car Rally at Hari Niwas Jammu.
District Development Commissioner Jammu, Ajeet Kumar Sahu, Director Tourism Jammu, Soujanya Sharma, Joint Director Information Jammu, Smita Sethi, Joint Director Tourism, Shiv Kumar Gupta, Deputy Directors, Tourism, Kanta Devi, Dr. Subash, Tersham, SSP Traffic Jammu Manmohan Singh, SP North, Johar and other senior officers were present on the occasion.
Referring to convenience and comfort of the participants, the Minister said that the concerned administrations have put in place all necessary arrangements to ensure smooth and successful conduct of the rally.
Meanwhile, the Poonch district administration has also made elaborate arrangements for the rally like deployment of Hindustan Construction Corporation’s (HCC) machines to ensure road clearance, 2 recovery vans of army and 2 fire fighting engines at different locations of the road, medical teams with ambulances, traffic management, deployment of district police and army along road and high reaches from Buffliaz upto Pir -Ki- Gali etc.
