Man arrested for trying to loot ATM

JAMMU, July 30: Domana Police arrested a man for making futile attempt to loot Automatic Teller Machine (ATM) from Barnai.
As per police sources, a man entered into an ATM of State Bank of India (SBI) at Barnai and tried to loot it by damaging it. As he failed to loot the ATM, he escaped from the spot yesterday.
However, a case under FIR Number 205/2021 under Sections 380 and 511 IPC has been registered at Police Station Domana in this regard and investigation started.
During the course of investigation, a team from Police Station Domana led by SHO Inspector Mahesh Sharma arrested the accused, who was identified as Mumtaz Shah, son of Masoom Shah, a resident of Village Sanai Tehsil Surankote District Poonch, at present Bharat Nagar Bantalab District Jammu.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
