JAMMU, Aug 1: BJP senior leader and JMC councillor from Ward No. 41, Sanjay Kumar Baru started the construction work of lanes and drains at an estimated cost of Rupees 10 lakh in Ward No. 41 falling under Jammu West Assembly Constituency.
BJP Ward president, Ashok Wazir, BJP local leaders, Jatin Sethi, Jai Deep Samyal, Brijesh Gupta,Vinod Wazir, Bubesh Thappa and Rakesh Sharma along with JMC AE, Woks, Balvinder Singh were also present on the occasion.
Sanjay Kumar Baru, while addressing the gathering on the occasion said that these priority development works were delayed by few months due to second COVID-19 wave but as now situation has been normalised we are trying our best to initiate all delayed development works one by one.
He said that as an elected representative of masses, it is his prime duty to address the public issues and develop his ward as Model one.
Baru also complimented Prime Minister, Narendra Modi for 73rd and 74th Amendment in Jammu and Kashmir (UT). He said these amendments are now boosting the development at the grass root level. He further said that it is only due to the decisive action by PM Modi that India has today emerged as the global power.
BJP Ward president, Ashok Wazir, on the occasion said that BJP as an organization is committed to take the development to the doorsteps of general masses. He also praised the JMC councillor for his dedication in serving the masses. He also said that the local councillor, Sanjay Kumar Baru has taken many initiatives for public welfare.
Surinder Bhagat, Jugal Kishore, Jangjeet Singh, Kali Bhagat, Surinder Sharma, Sanjay Sharma and local citizens were also present on the occasion.
