UDHAMPUR, Aug 2: A labourer was crushed to death when a cemented Girder fell on him while working at an under construction bridge on Chenani to Sudhmahadev road at Bashat, here today.
The deceased labourer from Bihar was engaged as fabricator by the SRM Company, which is constructing the bridge at Bashat
According to the police report, the deceased labourer, namely Tarkashwar Vin (42), son of Butanvin, resident of village Gariba Tola Bala, Rai Saran Bihar, was working at the under construction bridge when working Jack skipped and a cemented Girder suddenly fell on him resulting into his death on the spot.
The incident has occurred due to the negligence of M/s SRM Company employees and officers and in this regard case FIR number 107/2021, under section 304A IPC has been registered, said Police.
