Srinagar, Aug 5: District Development Commissioner (DDC) Pulwama, Baseer Ul Haq Choudhary today inaugurated a Football Tournament organised by the Department of Youth Services and Sports, here.
On the occasion, the DDC said that sports add value to life besides making it lively.
While appreciating the efforts of the Department of Youth Services and Sports, he said that such events shall lead to a healthy lifestyle and would be pivotal in delaying the early onset of lifestyle diseases. He added that sports imbibe leadership qualities besides adding value to Life through inculcating team spirit and tolerance.
The tournament is being held under the supervision of DYSSO Pulwama and teams from all the zones of the district are participating in this tournament.
